How to book
The best way to book is via e-mail at the thestoneham@live.co.uk. Our lovely team of managers will get back to you as soon as possible with availability and any additional information you may require. Please note, we always prioritise the customers who have expressed their interest first, however if the status of your booking is only provisional and you have yet to pay a deposit we reserve the right to let it to someone else.

DAY HIRE:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12pm-5pm - £400 minimum spend / No Hire Fee
EVENING HIRE:
Monday - Thursday 5pm-11pm - £675 minimum spend / No Hire Free
Friday & Saturday 5pm-12am - £675 minimum spend / No Hire Fee
Sunday - N/A (Quote only)
* To secure your booking we require a £200 deposit, which can be redeemed or refunded on the day of the event, once the minimum spend has been reached.

Frequently Asked Question
Can I decorate the room?
Yes. You can bring decorations and make the room feel even more festive for you special occasion. Please remember to let us know if the decorating will take place before the guests arrival, so we can assure the staff are there to let you in. Occasionally we can let you in even before the hiring times, but this needs to be agreed beforehand with the management to avoid clashing with earlier reservations.
WE DO NOT ALLOW: Any types of glitter decoration or confetti. Please avoid any sticky items that could damage the paint-work or leave marks.

Can I bring live music?
Yes. Live bands can occupy quite a large chunk of the space, so please be mindful how much available room you will have for the rest of your guests. Occasionally we allow DJs as well, however the management needs to be notified in advance as a permission from the in-house residence is required.
All live music MUST be kept to a reasonable level and the management have the right to stop any performance if rules are not upheld.

What will happen to my deposit if I cancel my booking?
All deposits are refundable if the venue has been given at least three weeks notice. This period is needed, so the room availability can be advertised and offered to other customers.

What will happen if I don't reach my minimum spend?
The minimum spend is based on the spending of all guests on drink and/or food throughout the evening. In the rare event the minimum spend is not reached, the difference is covered by the deposit. In cases where the difference is grater than £200, the whole deposit is kept.

We might need a bigger space. Are there any alternatives?
Yes. We are happy to offer a spacious area in the main pub for bookings exceeding the capacity of the private bar. There is no minimum spend required in the main bar, however we will still ask you for a refundable deposit of £5 per person to secure your booking.

How long can children stay?
All kids are welcome until 10pm in the private bar.

Can I bring my own food?
Due to health and safety reasons, we do not allow food that has not been prepared on the premises to be served or eaten.
